I would highly recommend Emily Busse for her skills in both Design and Merchandising. Emily and I worked together when she helped develop the accessories business for the Starter brand that we launched at Amazon.

Because private label fashion was a new business for Amazon, we did not have any design resources or capabilities. Emily was able to build an entire accessory line for Men, Women, and Kids across socks, bags, and other key accessory categories.

She and her team took the time to understand the history and brand DNA of Starter and used that to develop a cohesive line. She was an expert across several categories and was able to recommend fabrications, fits, and source into high quality products that met our necessary margin targets. Her communication was clear and timely, and she was able to work quickly to launch these lines on shortened timelines. She kept my team in the loop on the entire process from ideation through delivery, and she ensured that no detail was missed.
